RAK VMK combined radial thrust pulleys are intended for forklifts and for other hoisting and handling machinery. Contrary to the RAK pulleys, the needle pulley for accommodating lateral forces is replaced by a sliding insert made of modified polyamide with very good sliding characteristics. The sliding insert can be positioned which helps taking up assembly and running clearances in the application. Contrary to the needle pulley, the sliding insert has a higher passive resistance, however it is more resistant to shock load.
