The combined bearing in the picture is intended for accomodating the simultaneously acting radial and axial forces. The bearing consists of two rows of radial cages with needle rollers and one row of balls with a cage. The ball bearing is designed as a 3-point contact bearing with a split outer ring that makes decreasing the total axial clearance in the bearing possible. Each row of needles can be additionally lubricated through a circular distribution groove and lubrication holes.
