Ložiska se zkříženými osami válečků jsou používána v uloženích, kde je nutno zachytit radiální i axiální zatížení a případně též klopný moment. Ložiska mohou být dodávána s děleným vnitřním nebo vnějším kroužkem, v plnoválečkovém provedení nebo s klecí či samostatnými separátory. Dělené kroužky musí být v uložení pevně staženy. Ložiska v plnoválečkovém provedení mají vyšší únosnost, lze je však provozovat při nižších otáčkách než ložiska s klecí či separátory.

Bearings with crossed roller axes are used in applications where accommodating radial and axial load and possibly the tilting moment is required. The bearings can be supplied with a split inner and outer ring as full complement bearings or with a cage or independent separators. The split rings must be firmly tightened in the assembly. The full complement bearings have a higher load carrying capacity, however, they can be operated at lower speeds than bearings with cages or separators.

Lager mit gekreuzten Rollen-Achsen werden in den Lagerungen benutzt, wo es nötig ist, sowol radiale, als auch axiale Belastung zu fangen und gegebenenfalls auch Kipp-Moment. Lager können mit geteiltem Innen- oder Außenring in Vollrollen-Ausführung oder mit Käfig oder mit Separatoren geliefert werden. Geteilte Ringe müssen in Lagerung fest gezogen werden. Lager in Vollrollen-Ausführung haben höhere Tragfähigkeit, es ist jedoch möglich, sie nur bei niedrigerer Drehzahl zu betreiben als Lager mit Käfig oder Separatoren.
